Deleting your account and your data
Zyrane Track accounts are created by an employer for their staff. Who you ask depends on which of those two you are.

If you are an employee
There is no public sign-up for Zyrane Field: your organization created your account, and it is the organization that can close it. Ask your manager or whoever administers Zyrane Track where you work — deactivating you takes them one action, and it stops all recording at once.
Some of it you can delete yourself, without asking anybody: where your organization's policy allows it, your own screenshots can be deleted from the desktop agent, and a visit photograph or an expense claim can be withdrawn before it is approved.
If asking your employer does not get you an answer, write to privacy@zyrane.in from the email address on your account, or from the address your employer has for you, and say what you want deleted. We reply within 7 days and we will take it up with the organization that holds your record. We cannot delete an employer's business records on an employee's instruction — see below for what that covers and why — but we will tell you exactly what is held and what was done.
What deactivating you deletes straight away
- Your face template and every punch selfie of you. Deleted when you are deactivated, file first and then the row, unless a legal hold applies to that record. Coming back means enrolling again, with an administrator's approval, as on the first day.
- Your sign-in. The device token on your handset stops working, and no SMS code will sign you in again.
- Recording. No position, application, screenshot or selfie is captured after deactivation. Uninstalling the app has the same effect immediately, whether or not anybody has deactivated you.
What is deleted on a schedule rather than at once
- Punch selfies: after your organization's retention period — 90 days unless they changed it.
- Screenshots: 30 days by default, up to 180 if your organization set that.
- The GPS trail and activity records: 13 months.
What is kept, and why
Attendance, visits, approved expense claims and the photographs attached to them are your employer's business records, not personal data they hold as a favour: an approved expense claim is an accounting document, and attendance is what a salary was paid against. Those are kept while the organization's account is open, and they go when it closes. If you believe a specific record is wrong, that is a correction to ask your employer for, and the dashboard keeps an audit trail of corrections.
If you administer an organization
Closing the account deletes the organization's data from our systems: every user, device, trail, screenshot, selfie, face template, visit, task and expense belonging to it. Write to privacy@zyrane.in from an administrator's address on the account and ask for the account to be closed and its data deleted. We confirm within 7 days, and the deletion completes within 30 days of that confirmation — including the copies on the content network that serves screenshots and photographs, and rolling backups as they age out.
Export first if you need to. Once the deletion has run there is nothing left to export.
On a self-hosted installation none of this involves us at all: the data is on your own server, and deleting it is yours to do.
